ABOUT THE NEW RANGE ROVER SPORT SV

Land Rover’s announcement not only celebrates this powerhouse SUV but also sheds light on the official designation of the SV and the retirement of the SVR moniker. This exclusive vehicle will be offered as an invitation-only model. The stage is set for the most agile and sophisticated Range Rover to date. Current prototypes of the new Range Rover Sport SV feature a unique front fascia with additional air intakes, quad-exhaust tips, a rear diffuser, and massive brake rotors and calipers.

Following in the footsteps of the the previous Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition, the Range Rover Sport SV is the official start of the SV designation, defining the future of Range Rover capability and exclusivity. The SV in the name indicates the vehicle is being developed by JLR’s SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) personalization division. The division is also responsible for ultra-luxury models, which typically wear an SVAutobiography badge.
