Defender 90s come standard with all-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case. Off road, the 90 is an incredibly capable machine. The generous ground clearance means it can negotiate nasty surfaces without scraping its belly, plus the adjustable air suspenders provide well-controlled ride whether you’re bombing over ruts or trolling your local strip mall. All this off-road hardware makes the Defender 90 one of the most capable SUVs you can buy today.

New for the 2022 Land Rover Defender

Other changes for 2022 include an available 11.4-inch infotainment screen instead of the standard 10.0-inch unit, along with a standard wireless charging pad for mobile devices, over-the-air update capability, and a navigation system that optimizes route guidance using AI and real-time traffic updates.

The 2022 Land Rover Defender’s Pivi Pro infotainment system sees significant upgrades. The dashboard of the 2022 Defender contains elements of high-tech, like the optional 11.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, along with enough upscale touches to remind its occupants that this is a premium vehicle. The 90 offers an extra jump seat between the two main places up front. The 2022 Defender 90 comes in X-Dynamic SE and X-Dynamic HSE trims for 2022. Every 2022 Defender now carries standard wireless charging.
